Major Snagg is the invented name of the 'band' that perform all my own musical creations. (songs and instrumentals). I play guitars, bass, rudimentary keyboards, harmonica, and sing. Melody has always been important to me... lyrics and guitar solos have to say or communicate something. I create musical worlds that I hope that you dear listener, will also want to explore and live in for a few moments...or longer if you feel that way inclined.

Story behind the song
In style, an instrumental from a bygone golden age of plenty. Cars were bright red, pink, yellow, had huge tail-fins and acres of chrome. Guitars were big, sexy and desirable. Life was fun, gasoline was cheap. Girls were slim and had pony-tails...you get the picture. This tune started life as a simple 'jam' that quite by accident seemed to have quite a pleasant melody, so I quickly re-recorded it and gave a bit more structure. Guitars used were: my Eastwood Astro Cadet Bill Nelson model and a Crafter Cruiser bass guitar. Guitar processing via a Line 6 Pod (2.0)
