Story behind the song
The late Sir George Shearing (he was knighted by Queen Elizabeth (a few years before his death) has always been my second all-time great Jazz Pianist after the late Erroll Garner - US Pianist extraordinaire. Check out George's later work just playing Piano with Bass on YouTube. He started off with a popular close harmony quintet of Piano, Guitar, Vibes, Bass and Drums, but as I say, he spent his later life producing some fabulous work with a Bass Player.

Corr not heard this song for years. My Dad was a massive Big Band/Jazz enthusiastic, had a huge record collection so heard this and lots more as a kid. Brought up on it you could say. Great rendition Tony.
