Mc'Gowen Street
Feb 9, 2009
I turned from off the highway Onto love drive which is my way To Mc'Gowan street where I lived not long ago. My heart was fluctuating Because I was anticipating I'd see you standing where the garden grows. But something didn't seem right Because everything was to quiet So I stoped the car and I turned the music down And in the silence this is what I found. That dusty road that leads up to are little country home Was over grown with thistle And the silence sang a song The loneliness was hard to bare Yet in the summers heat The blue LaBellas bloomed along McGowan Street. Right now I really miss you And I'm wishing I could kiss you And hold you in my arms one more time. But nothing's going my way And my dream worlds slipping sideways Old memories keep messing up my mind. There was a note upon the back door And my hand started shaking before I could hold it close enough so I could see And here's what your letter said to me: That dusty road that leads up to our little country home Is over grown with thistles Cause you stayed away to long The loneliness was hard to bare Yet it would have been sweet If you had never left me on McGowan street. I'm wishing now if only I had not become so lonely I would have waited cause I felt you'd change your mind. But you know my situation And all of this frustration Is just like pouring dreadges in the wine. Some morning when you wake up And your thinking we should make up Perhaps the hands of time will let it be And baby when you come home to me. Along the road that leads up to our little country home The voices of our children will sing a happy song The loneliness will not be ther eto stir the summers heat. When blue LaBellas bloom along McGowan street When blue LaBellas bloom along McGowan street.
All American

My hair is turning white My eyes are a glossy red My collar is still blue I'm an American through and through. Riding on that American dream With my head held high Shining the red, white and blue Yeah you know what I mean it's in our souls While our spirits soar free Yes I'm proud to be apart of the American dream. I am a Brother and a Sister A billion voices singing one song Standing shoulder to shoulder "Strong and proud" for this is our home Our Red, White and Blue. My hair is turning white My eyes are a glossy red My collar is still blue I'm an American tried and true.
Dirty Floor

An unforeseen heartache That cracks her very soul She feels her shattered heart Oozing from her pores. What happened to the Happy girl that once Made her life whole. Now she is empty a shell Of what once was so pure. The monster slowly bleeds her Heart of love and hope With each wicked word spoken. Is he smiling at what she has become His blackened soul satisfied at Knowing he has won. The monster looks down at her With evil in his coal black eyes And he feels nothing As she squeezed the trigger One last time. Look at your reflection in Her crimson colored life Now in puddles on This dirty floor.
