Stan Theriault is an accomplished guitarist and songwriter with a life-long history of performing with many popular artists as well as being a session musician. Started playing guitar when I was 7 years old on my older brother's $19.99 Stella guitar when he was not around. I got my own first used Kay guitar when I was 11 years old and in 1962 started my first three piece band playing at church and school dances. Next I was the leader of my first Rock band called The Cycle a Toronto based Band The Band toured across Canada and the U.S we had some success with recording our own songs getting several # 1's in Canada as well as air play in the US also TV spots.The band broke up in 68 and I went on to play lead guitar and vocals with various groups also I did a lot of session work through the 70's Then retired from music. In 2006 my son Paul AKA Bassjones a fellow Soundclicker got me interested in computer recording and I loved it. Paul and I have colabrated on several songs and hope to do more in the near future. I have always loved music and I appreciate it so much more now. I play for me and what a blast. I love all types of music and enjoying playing all types.
