Darnell Q. Brabham aka Bizzle Montana was born and raised in the notorious St.Nicholas housing projects in Harlem,New York.
Bizzle Montana has seen everything the inner city has to offer from shootouts to drug sales to the infamous New York City gangbanging culture.
At 14 years old the lifestyle caught up to him when he was shot and witnessed his cousin get murdered in front of him in a drive by shooting in Uptown Harlem.
His mother thought it was in his best interest for him to move to Albany,New York with his grandparents so he might have a chance the rest of his family didn't have, to escape the streets and make something better of himself.After his moving to upstate NY he formed a few close friendships that would eventually become the M.B.M. record lable/movement.
Montana was the youngest of the team in age but one of the most advanced due to his experiences in life.Montana would remain one of the founding members of M.B.M. as close friend after friend began to stray leaving Montana,LT The Boss and BLOK(Currently incarcerated) as the only 3 founding members left.Trouble seemed to follow the young lyricist though as several cases haunted him and the rest of his team.
With 2 of his closest friends currently incarcerated he knows it's his time to step up and keep the movement powerful as he makes the transition from young man to grown man.
June 7th,2008 would mark the day Brabham's life would change as he knew it forever.His son Anthony was givin birth to in Albany,NY.
"It's(fatherhood) not hard u just gotta put ur Nikes on and just do it".It seems that success is the only option for the kid from St.Nick projects turned father and motivation for the youth in every ghetto all around the world.
"You can only delay success for so long".Brabham knows the importance of playing his role in a team in order for that team to win the championship.My cousin who is also in the industry told me "You can only have one Michael Jordan and what made Jordan great was the rest of the team trusted him to be Jordan at the end of the day and take the team to the top.If not you might end up like the Lakers in 04'".
