Hand is slowly on route to recovery. Played the classical nylon string guitar today for the first time since the surgery. That made for a pleasant day. I can deal with this pain...as long as it's the kind of pain you can push through and not the kind that damages. That's the patience of recovery I guess...of which I don't have a lot of. I'm rather pleased that my fingers have a great deal of strength left in them. It's the thumb that will be the focus of a lot of rehabilitative effort. I can't wait to get at it though. Not being able to play makes me a little nuts
