Lyricist working with musicians around the globe
First and foremost, I am a writer and I write novels, poetry and song lyrics. I have, for the last few years, been fortunate enough to be able to concentrate purely on my writing and have been published a few times in poetry anthologies and magazines and have won a few poetry contests and awards. I write lyrics for many composers around the world, having "met" them through a couple of websites I frequent and have a collection of more than 250 songs with them. I am married and have two grown children and a pair of grandsons I adore. Meeting people on the internet has been a joy for me and I spend far too much time sitting at my computer, but I do have other interests which involve other family members. My son is a rock drummer and I am always happy to go to one of his gigs or discuss music with him and we have worked together on a few songs as he is also blessed with a sweet voice. My daughter is coincidentally my best girlfriend and we are often out and about doing things together. And my husband and I share a love for travel, for movies and for having a giggle, which is what I am perhaps most famous for. My two novels are downloadable for Kindle and/or paperbacks via Amazon. I used my whole name for them, Theresa Dawn Sinclair.

Hi to all my lovely Soundclick friends.....I may appear to have deserted you all over the years but trust me, I never stopped writing lyrics or poetry and I've shared them all on various platforms, although I am , as I've always been, a total technophobe which makes all this platform stuff difficult. I do truly feel blessed when I read the kind comments and I have total respect for every musician who have used my lyrics....you all know who you are......so now here is a little admission....I have recently been diagnosed with Altzeimers and while it has not yet robbed me of my writing capabilities, I am affected in many other ways which means I probably won't be up to much in that department for much longer.....I will keep you all in my heart and just wanted to thank you sincerely for your kind words of encouragement xxxx love Dawn Sinclair AKA Terri Sinclair

Thank you Dawn :^)) A few here at SC and at FB have accused me of using AI to write my lyrics - I do not - to prove to these people, I challenged them to submit my song title "Song Without Title" to any AI lyrical site to see what they come up with. This title stumps these AI sites because it essentially is "a song without a title" :^)) I don't claim to be a great writer, but I do enjoy what simple songs I do. Cheers to the music -

Surprised and glad to hear from you. Nice to know you are out there in your corner of the world. Was doubly surprised to see a comment on can’t change naked forgot I left it up. In 2019 I redid it on piano the instrument I wrote it on originally and it was always a piano song in my head. lol hope all is well. I’m still here finally retired and living the dream ha

Well remember health problems of any kind beat the alternative! And I thought all was good in your corner of the world. I think your Righteous SOB comment confused me. Which is not hard to do.

Glad all is well in your corner of the world and you are busy writing. Great to have work you enjoy. If you get a link to the Chinese rendition of the song let me know. Sounds exciting. And you were up all night without alcohol or some illegal substance I would have a hard time doing it. LOL! Saucy pants? I have been called many things but that is a new one.

Hi Dawn, Well I very sorry to hear about your daughter but was relieved to hear she recovered. Exciting news about your books. Definitely keep me in the loop as to when they would be available. Jim is doing well. He is in the process of getting a new dog. He had some health scares himself these last 2 years. A staph infection in his back that really got bad and he was hospitalized for quite awhile and had to have surgery to cutout the infection. Thanks for spinning Needles and Pins. I have been not doing much musically either my day job has all but taken over my life. I always thought I would be cruising into retirement at my age now but it is worse than it ever was. But.. like everything else in life it beats the alternative.
