The Rain Bird sings in all kinds of weather. It sings of love, anger, beauty, joy and sadness. It sings to no one but itself. Expecting no answers to it's song, except the wind and rain.
Song Just For Me Song Just For Me
I wrote this song in one of my self-pitying frames of mind thinking: "I write all these songs basically just for me anyway, they don't mean that much to anyone else, so this is the one where I drop the pretense."
I'm So Down I'm So Down
The title says it all. While the lyrics say "sad", the music says...well, "It's not so bad". A friend described the sound as a cross between Leonard Cohen and the Fugs, with a bit of mid-70s Dylan thrown in. See "Story Behind The Song" for more.
