ALASKA 1981 and 1982. Don PItz on lead vocals, Joel Pirard on keys & vocals Tom Scopac on bass and vocals, Marty Thall, drums, Dan Paladino guitar & vocals EARLY 1980s PROGRESSIVE ROCK BAND. Started out as mostly covers playing Genesis, Yes, Rush, Kansas, Moody Blues, Pink Floyd. Moved into writing and completed 6 original songs before disbanding in 1982.
Loving old age.. Sat playing my guitar all day and composing stuff (When I'm not fishing).... Retired now from the live music scene, but still love playing. Played most types of music. Many years of session work... some good, some not so good. Love the blues and how it can reach people in ways some music fails to do. Many of the older character players are up there playing now. I bet Gary Moore sounds great on an overdriven harp.
I am a Christian who creates folk rock, rock, pop, and novelty tracks. On a winter's night in 2000, while walking down a quiet street, a whirlwind blew towards me. As it approached, it seemed to me that God told me music was coming back into my life. I'll let you reach your own conclusions, but 45 albums worth of music later and I know that it was a genuine word from the Lord.
