TK Major is a veteran singer, guitarist and songwriter, and the main writer and only permanent member of mutant outsider roots pop veteranos, one blue nine. is a veteran songwriter, singer, and guitarist from Long Beach, California. With deep roots in country, blues, and folk, Major is, nonetheless, probably best known (if at all) for what he calls , since his band, have always subverted the electronic and postmodern impulses of that band.. Singer Songwriter I am a singer,songwriter from Durham, North East England living in Edinburgh, Scotland and I have been writing songs for about 50 years. Influences include 60's,70's, and 80's singer songwriters, and ambient/ soundtrack music. My music is atmospheric, ambient, yet with a pop sensibility. I write or co write songs. I sing them. Sometimes people like them... I have been around a long time so most of my life is rapidly disapperaring in the rear view mirror ! I used to be one half of Dawnwind but that died a slow painful death. I've done the whole professional bit. It was fun while it lasted and I have no regrets. Nowadays I write songs for myself. If other people enjoy them..thats a bonus.
