Frank Hudson composes and plays guitar-based music in several genres. Originally an acoustic music player he branced out into various rock genres, including playing with "The LYL Band" and other musicians. In the late 1990s he began producing, composing, playing and recording instrumental rock.
I play solo acoustic on rare occasions, but the electric guitar and solo/"band" work is dependent on multi-tracking and is therefore not amenable to live presentation.
I like a far-range of acoustic music: John Fahey, Bob Dylan, Bert Jansch, and dozens of others. Similarly my electric guitar heroes are across the board: Peter Green, John Lee Hooker, Tom Verlaine, Steve Cropper, BB King, Harvey Mandel, Albert Collins, Jim Hall, Frank Zappa, and many many more.
If I could be any musician, I'd want to be Aretha Franklin.
Acoustic guitars: Maya 00-sized guitar, Martin 00-15, Seagull S6 Folk, Guild 12 string, Alvarez 0M-sized guitar
Electric guitars: plenty of Fender Telecasters. DeArmond S72 with Roland MIDI interface, Fender, Hohner, and Samick Strat style guitars, Reverend Slingshot, Hohner Revelation, Carvin DC150, and a few others even more off the beaten path.
Main guitar amps: Fender Hot Rod Deluxe, Black panel Princeton, Music Man RD50, Vox AD30VT, and Mesa Boogie Subway Rocket Reverb.
