It will always make sense if you don't think about it too much. I've been writing, recording and performing music for longer than I care to admit. Let's just say 20-25 years... give or take... as the crow flies. In the studio I do about everything except drums. I'm not 'great' at anything, just 'pretty good' at a lot of different things. Contemporary Christian Rock and Blues Been playing guitar for 30+ years. Played in a band in high school. Played with church folk group doing folk masses in high school. Started writing songs in college. Got away from music until 1999 when I began playing with Praise Band at our church. Taught myself bass about 6 years ago. Began writing songs again in 2003. Spillage is a two piece outfit playing and recording acoustic and electric blues/rock/folk inspired songs. The bulk of the band’s set is original material.
