Story behind the song
"Jumping at Shadows" was written by Duster Bennett, a Welsh blues singer and guitarist active in the mid-1960s. He was friendly with the first incarnation of Fleetwood Mac, which probably explains why this song turns up on "Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac Live at the BBC." The Fleetwood Mac version provided the inspiration for my cover of this track.
Singing is definitely not my forte...and the highlight of the track (for me) occurs when my dog (who was in the room whilst I was recording this) decided that she would bark loudly at an opportune moment (lyrically speaking...)
