Story behind the song
After a house party, some of the bands roomates were pissed off. They were storming around the house shouting (Im a rockstar!! I dont have to clean anything, Im a rockstaR, Ill break the sink, Im a rockstar, I dont care that other people live here)
So the song was created as an inside joke.
The lyrics are symbolic to first the dream of being a rockstar, then the blood, sweat, and tears of being a musician, to finally becoming the rockstar. even if its just mentally.
