Lyrics
"Why did you have to go?" Copyright © 2010 by Nadia Cripps (lyrics) and Roel van Veldt (music, vocals, piano, demo). No hope, it's all in the past Our love wasn't meant to last It had to be fate, Tonight is our last date My dreams weren't meant to come true We can never renew What we've lost It's all in the past, it's not you, just your ghost I know you have no choice and have to leave I'm still watching you in disbelieve But it's true, I have to learn to let go Would I ever recover? I don't no But I've decided I'll have to move out Too many memories makes me doubt That I'll ever be free, my life is a mess I'll never forget you but I hope I'll recover nevertheless One day we might meet again It wouldn't be soon, perhaps like first time On my way to my train We'll both be older but will we know The answer to why did you have to go?
