Story behind the song
Art was sharing some new music with Von ---- Von just starting singing these words. Von drew the words from a conversation she had years ago when someone described their acceptance of Christ into their hearts as being one of the most primitive forms of joy they had ever known. It was also shared that the "battle of acceptance" was intense, letting go of doubt and marching headstrong into faith!! The music behind the lyric (we hope) shares the intensity of the battle toward forgiveness we all have with ourselves at one time or another in our lives.
