it's so easy to lose sight
of the reason why we started this fight
it's so hard to pretend

we tear it down, it will arise

i refuse to except this desgrace
up against an enemy that has no face
there is nothing left to explain
i am here to relieve the pain
left by years of guilt
the tears we've shed, the blood we've spilt

we've done so much to heal these scars

now we can not let it slip away
