Another lovely pop track that is so easy on the ears and well-arranged. Brett is a great guy to collaborate with - a very talented artist, indeed. Your guitarist adds tasty arpeggios and a meaty lead that fits just right. Your vocals are calming and right on pitch. Congrats on your chart positions - well deserved!

I have always known that the sign of a mature musician was the one who could hold back,and put parts that build the song and not the musician/writer.What you guys have done here is verify this GREATLY!!!
Each simply brought just what the song called for,from the beautiful writing and performance from you Gabe setting the atmosphere,Brett....(who did an amazing job on bk-up voc) Steve Laymen,who is brilliant on piano plus :) and Michael,who has the talent and maturity to resist wailing on the guitar(which we all know he could have done,and done very well too)
This song is a PERFECT example of Great song writing and brilliant communication between artists
"The Silvers" is perfect :)
I give this a pure 10 out of 10 and would not change a single thing guys

Elegantly stated, emotional lyrics, beautifully sung, both lead and backing lyrics absolutely sparkle. Your acoustic guitar records so sweetly (compliments the timbre of your vocal), love the keys (piano tone sends shivers!) and brilliant (yet understated) and the glove-like fit of Mike's lead work. Such a lush and brilliant result. Wonderful work by all, the dream team!

Hi Gabe,
Thanks for inviting me over to your latest treasure. You guys sound like a full blown band. Very tight. Vocals and harmonies are perfect. Instrumentation and the melody float along. It is a great thing this can be done across the internet. Gabe the lyrics are very heartfelt. And I still remember my dad saying you come into the world alone and you go out the same way and it sure seems to happen more often than not. Happy Birthday! 60 is the big one. I can see it in the horizon. Enjoy the day.
If you get a chance I have redone one of my last remakes of a song called I'd Like to Start All over again and it is some of my own restrospection which seems to creep into all of us as we age.
P.S. On my second listen this is a beauty! You are a melody maker.

Perfect!! To have several guys working together and producing such a seamless, high quality song is a real achievement - you sound as though you can read each other's thoughts. Wonderful lyrics, superb vocals, love the keys and guitar work - the arrangement and production are excellent.

Hi ho Silvers!! You guys are quite the hit machine. Beautiful song Gabe...really liked the lyrics and your delivery. You sure sing great. Brett aded some nice harmony. Mike's guitar work fit the song well and the keys were a nice touch as well. Nicely mixed and overall another really fine tune to add to your new CD. Congrats to all on an excellent collab!

Wow. This is also a very excellent tune. Very wonderful. Your vocal style is so easy to listen to. And the melody is still playing in my head after the recording finished. Great hook. This is a great song and recording.
