Q: Where did you grow up? A: New Jersey Q: What made you realize that music was your path? A: The devil made me do it... Q: How would you describe the music that you typically create? A: Commentaries on human nature Q: Who are your biggest musical influences? A: Oscar Brown Jr, Steely Dan, and the guy leading the elephant parade with his clarinet Q: What makes your music unique? A: who said it's unique? Q: Has there been one particular moment in your musical career that you're most proud of? A: Trapped by an unexpected blizzard in at a grand opening in Sagniaw Michigin, me and my band mates played a non stop 1 hour improvisation which may well have been the best music jam I've ever been part of. When I approached owners seeking praise, one guy looked at the other guy, turned to me and said " that was the worst piece of shit I've ever heard." Q: What's next for you? A: I don't know, but I'll let you know when it happens!

Story behind the song
Carelessness in the land of love does great damage. He should know. He took the best and left the rest, then sauntered down the boulevard seeking something he will never have. He'd left her there,  crying, without a warning or any show of remorse. Who would have thought he hurt so badly?
Lyrics
VERSE 1 Time equaled distance but lacking persistence Routine had a magic sufficient for me Somehow the notion was set into motion Endlessly seeking permission to be CHORUS What was I trying to say? When you stole my heart and took my breath away Moments to treasure moments worth waiting for VERSE 2 Relentless persuader, outlandish behavior Could not have predicted the rescue at sea Drifting in darkness, then consumed by softness Magic provided permission to be CHORUS (repeat) (INSTRUMENTAL BREAK: jazzy, sweet, emotional) VERSE 2 Was there another way? I could not really say Somehow somewhere at the end of the day Wink of an eye, a kiss of blue sky Fury and darkness simply sashayed away CHORUS (repeat)
