Story behind the song
I needed one more song to complete a 3 song original music demo. I had nothing to write about - so i dug deep and used a secret love for inspiration and used a lot of poetic license - in other words, lyrically not exactly the situation, but the feelings were - and still are
Lyrics
I Love You To Pieces Come now, be strong for me When now's the time to see That another place, another time will make it right That any way and anyhow I'm into you Don't fear (don't fear me now) be near to me (don't go too far away) When now's the time to be In a special place - in a world that's all our own I can be your friend - I will be there 'cuz I Love You To Pieces But I won't break you down Though I miss you when you're not around I Love You To Pieces Hear me sing it to you now and trust me I won't let you down I love you (soprano sax solo/Jim Wilkas) Come now, don't fade away When light and truth will say That I know it's hard And I know that you're far away But I know you feel for me I Love You To Pieces But I won't break you down Though I miss you when you're not around I Love You To Pieces Hear me sing it to you now and trust me I won't let you down Repeat and fade

Hi Kara, I have a soft spot for the jazz and this delivers on many fronts. Musicianship is top shelf and your vocals are excellent. Looks like you have an extensive background in live performance and you would be a treat to see. Congrats on a very good song. Thanks for sharing.
