So what do you call someone who has seen it all and been thru the storms enough to walk his way thru the next one? Or what do you refer an underdog to when he accomplishes the impossible? Last, what do you call somebody you watch taking a beating from life itself and see him get right back up? You call him......a Phenom. But Amayzn will do for now. "Amayzn" is concieved from the word 'amazing', a compliment often used to describe reaction to his ability to do feats most people couldn't. Regardless of whatever the task has been, he's made it a goal to do what he does best: upstaging upstagers. Now, as a singer, writer, spoken word artist, he has begun a daunting task of leaving his mark upon the industry. Who should be more afraid, the young upstart who still has a hill to climb in order to see full success or, the industry that for so long has shunned all from the streets of Kansas City, Missouri? And the first step on this journey is the spoken word CD entitled, 'Written Sketches', an introductory album taking people through the many places photographed of this young man's environment the way he sees it....some good, some bad and some just. And everywhere he goes, there is bound to be some noise made. So be warned.....this man's words ain't for SOME people. It's for everybody!! Check out the audio and hear a few of his early works. click on the first friend in the list and hear what a true voice of the streets sounds like. The blog contains some of his previous written works as well. In the mean time, it's back to the grind. Dueces
