Lyrics
Keep Your Legs Closed! By Geoffrey "Dr. Groove" Watts Copyright©2002 dr_groove1234@yahoo.com Don't concern yourself with his six-pack abdominal Even if his bank account totals are astronomical Whether he is spiritual, intelligent or comical Never think that giving it up to him is logical Establish an outline for first rate dating practices Include no room for his elementary tactics He'll call you an angel or a Hollywood actress If flattery leads him to your queen-size mattress Don't "trip" over yourself because of how cute he is Cute computes (he probably made a whole lot of kids) You better find out what he did to make his way to you Listen carefully to what he says he's going to do with you A trail of lies will make you a spy – you need one true to you Ladies take your time conducting your first interview Yeah he spent money on your date Had food stacked upon your plate Yet don't take that paltry bait (money never obligates) Smokes or drinks alter your state – hesitate you better wait Stop in your tracks – please don't act – take the time to get the facts Have some class about your self – just don't give away your wealth A night of passion may be an attraction but you'll destroy your mental health If you have no chaste rules – you'll be called a garden tool Instead of feeling good in the morning, you'll feel just like a fool Don't sow seeds among the weeds, or upon barren land Spirituality doesn't mix with dirty earthly hands And being unevenly yoked will always cut your throat Is spirituality a priority? What image do you promote? If you don't want years of sadness from the path you may have currently chose Marinade, don't get played – put that sex on hold You better get yourself together, time to be composed Protect yourself – no one else – can give you self-control Forget the past and set your sights upon your present goal Have some class – learn to last- and keep your legs closed Have some class and some pizzazz – keep your legs closed (Now don't get me wrong, romance can be cool But protect your jewels from fools who break rule None should have a casual dip in your pool You should be as stubborn as Mr. Jones's Mule!)
