Story behind the song
This song came to me while realizing how everyone was loosing their homes and automobiles. Especially considering the fact that all those executive jerks were getting all our money!
Lyrics
AIN?T GOT NO MONEY Working seven days a week ten hours a day? Waiting till the day that I get my pay?. The banks been calling I?m behind one or two. They can get in line with the other few? They took my house ? came and got my car ? I?m hoofing it down to the local bar? The only one they?ve helped with the big buyout ?.Are the ones with limos and a big fine house.. Ain?t got no money?(repeat) Ain?t got no honey. (repeat) When the money ran out so did he?he ran out to find a VIP.. I?ve paid my taxes ? everyday that I?ve worked ? They gave it away to those executive Jerks ? They gave the money to the VIPs? ? and none to the people like me Ain?t got no money (repeat) Ain?t got no honey?(repeat) When the money ran out so did he? he ran out to find a VIP?. (break) I?m headed down the stairs?Cause I don?t care? My Bank accounts empty..there?s no money in there? The Local Banks holding my payroll check ..they?re waiting to see if the check clears ? But what the heck! They got the money? (repeat) All .. my.. money? (repeat) They gave it away to those executive Jerks ? Not to the little people like me They took my house ? came and got my car ? Now I?m hoofing it down to the local bar? The only one they helped with the big buy out ?are the ones with limos and a big fine house.. Ain?t got no money (repeat) Ain?t got no honey?(repeat) Cause when the money ran out ? so did he.. he ran out to find a VIP?
