Deluded was formed/founded in 2004 by creator Jason Penn. After two previous attempts with the band Anomaly, and his solo outing of Diluted Youth Penn made one last attempt into the music scene. "Hear it for Yourself" would be the first locally released album. Although, not very successful again the "do not die" attitude is what pushed Deluded forward to release it's sophomore album "All I Have to Say". The album still remains to be one of the most popular Deluded albums to this day. To date Penn has written 14 albums total for his Deluded solo project. Deluded was also in the "get your music on an mtv show" contest. Although Deluded didn't win the contest Penn's solo attempts proved to be paying off by making the semi finals round with the song "Eviscerated" and also the song "Liar & Thief". Deluded can also be found on www.vampirefreaks.com where currently ranked the 4th band of the alternative genre (sorted by fans). Deluded has passed signed bands such as, "Smile Empty Soul" and "The Vincent Black Shadow". Penn has also taken his Deluded to the top prize of the 1 emotronic band in Pennsylvania on his myspace account. October 31, 2008 will mark the 15th album for Deluded. Future plans include, hopefully one day getting on a label and repaying all the Deluded fans for all the love and support.
