Story behind the song
Prisoners of the earth, come out... This track is a direct statement toward the atrocities currently underway in the Middle East. Although we have no real connection to these people except by very remote bloodlines, we feel it necessary to bring some sort of enlightenment to the fact that PEOPLE ARE DYING every single day in a country torn by division. There must be a solution. There must be a way. Thanks to Muslimgauze for the opening scrap, without whom we would never be so close to the pain and horror taking place, nor so tuned in to the inherent beauty in that region's music. Also, a big thanks for Sandhya Sanjana for brief vocal pieces. This track is a direct statement toward the atrocities currently underway in the Middle East. Its been a while since I was enveloped in Electronica. The Therapy did wonders....then you friggin show up! Ha! I forgot how much I love it!! This particular tune, at least by definition, stems from a similar place to DATUM. Check it out, and do me the honor of commenting on it / adding it to your station as well. Thanks! KL
