Hey JC,
This is a very good treatment of the song, a nice rendition indeed. I liked the Gregorian style harmonies, and when coupled with the pipe organ and drum, your mix achieved an old-world (timeless) feel. There was a bit of an angry voice introduced to the mix at around 2:30 (theatrical intent I gather) that built upon the odious theme sewn within the poem.
The whole time I was listening, I half expected an acoustic interlude, but in retrospect, I’m glad you didn’t bring it, because the feel you maintained throughout your interpretation gave it a somewhat haunting originality.
Blessings
Ron
Classic, JC congrats! Tasteful and great vocals, organ actually sounds like recorded in the church. Truly ancient Briish. Great feel And may his great posterity Ne'er fail in old Scotland! Thanks for this one JC
