Story behind the song
What people would have had to endure back in the day if I had been born thirty years earlier :-) !!
Lyrics
Into my life you’ve come, And look what you’ve done, You’ve taken the rain And you’ve brought the sun Into my life. Into my life With a quiet smile, There’s no need For your denial. No one’s on trial Since you came Into my life. Into my life and into my world, With your girlish flag unfurled, The last challenge hurled Into my life. Into my life and into my arms, With your wisdom and your charm, You refuse to let harm Into my life. Into my life you’ve come, And look what you’ve done, You’ve taken the rain And you’ve brought the sun Into my life. Into my life With a quiet smile, There’s no need For your denial. No one’s on trial Since you came Into my life. Into my life a new love has grown, And I’m no longer alone, Now that you’ve flown Into my life. Into my life and into my soul; What was broken is made whole. You’ve brought control Into my life. Into my life you’ve come, And look what you’ve done. You’ve taken the rain And you’ve brought the sun Into my life. Into my life With a quiet smile, There’s no need For your denial. No one’s on trial Since you came Into my life.
