this is the lyrical version of Mr Bigman (the instrumental mix is also on this site)... unfortunately I had to use my vocals... there just was no one I could get to sing it at the time.

Story behind the song
this was written in protest to the Bush administration who wanted to amend the ANWR wildlife reserve agreement (Alaska) to allow for a revitalized pipeline spouting at Prudhome Bay, one of the main gathering grounds of the northern caribou, helping to deplete their natural habitat... and it would also have dislodged the raven population of the area... why?
Lyrics
HEY MR. BIGMAN Words and music copyright 2005 - RT Wright Hey Mr. Bigman Your daddy's dream came true?? But now I'm wondering, exactly what you're gonna do Alaskan sunrise About to shine on you?? Hey Mr. Bigman Well you, you finally got that big land It's like a barrell of monkeys, drooling over barrells of oil Crystaline tundra run for miles Hey Mr. Bigman Have you thought this through? The raven spread his wings Checkin out the situation too The raven he soar The raven he caw.......... "Can't get it back to the way it was; ya Once you start to mess it up" Hey Mr. Bigman Well are you listening to me? It was sanctuary For a half of a century Now you're trying to tell me It's all for National Security The kindred spirit of the caribou Indigenous skyline run for miles Can't get it back to the way it was Once you start to mess it up Hey Mr. Bigman Well are you listening to me It was sanctuary For a half of a century Now you're trying to tell me It's all for National Security hmmmph Don't try to tell me It's all for National Security

Brilliant! I think this vocal version is fantastic - great lyrics and sounds first class! I've added it to my station.
