Story behind the song
"On My Way" was my first original solo fingerstyle guitar composition. It was inspired by Mark Hanson's song, "The Blues", on his instructional "Fingerstyle Solo Guitar" DVD.

This song has a great movement from one vignette to the next. A happy fingerpicking song...although most are. Listening to this song, it doesn't seem like he just decided to pick up fingerpicking as it is very smooth.
