Wes Cravan & Johnny Dangerous of Brooklyn, NY, start their music career as DJ’s.
1994
Wes Cravan & Johnny Dangerous quit DJing and start producing.
1998
Wes Cravan & Johnny Dangerous produces and independently releases a break beat EP entitled
(Hip-Hop Anthems).
(Hip-Hop Anthems) sells over 5,000 copies and receives heavy rotation from national & international radio stations.
Their follow-up EP, (Tear Da Club Up), is also released independently and sells over 4,000 copies.
(Tear Da Club Up) is used by DMX while performing on BET & MTV.
1999
Wes Cravan & Johnny Dangerous produces “Ladies& Gentleman (Bounce Wit Me)”, a break beat single on AV8 records.
“Ladies & Gentleman (Bounce Wit Me)” sells over 5,000 copies.
2001
Wes Cravan & Johnny Dangerous produces “Ground Zero”, a benefit single on Select records.
“Ground Zero” shoots up to #2 on Billboard’s Hot Rap Singles Chart.
“Ground Zero” stays in the top ten spot for 13 weeks.
All proceeds went to the benefit of the Twin Towers Fund.
2005
Wes Cravan & Johnny Dangerous produces “Falling Fool”, a song on Sean-Gemini’s album, (Inner Me).
(Inner Me) is released on Lightyear Entertainment/WEA.
