Trio in 2006. Homebased in Pensacola Florida, the group can best described as a hard working traveling band that has played all through Northwest Florida averaging more than 100 shows a year. With founder Darren J. on lead guitar and vocals, Doug "Deacon" Burger on bass and "Miami" Rick Oaks on drums, the band's live show consists of all original high energy electric blues. With the release of their self produced CD "Panhandle Blues" and second CD "Further Up That Road," the band has earned the respect of their peers, and has attained much interest from the local media including features by many local newspapers and radio stations throughout the country. Darren J.'s unrelenting talent and genuine sincerity for the blues has also won him praise from many who have seen him play.
