Story behind the song
Calm Seas has existed in at least twelve very different versions. This final mix represents a nearly six month period.
Lyrics
Cold, black clouds are coming in, The sky is bleeding blue. Calm seas, bring me back again, To a better view. Cause I can't breathe here anymore. I've burned a hole right through the floor. Feels like I'm going out of my mind. Yeah, I was in calm seas where I belong. The days that I counted on, came down to only one. They came down to only one. Hold my head beneath the waves, Now I'm drowning proof, Of wasted vows and better days, Minutes lost on you. Yeah, I'll go to calm seas where I belong. The days that I counted on, came down to only one. Just send me to calm seas where I belong, When I will arrive where all... All's well, I'm feeling so... So out of time and tired.

The mood of this song is beautifully resonating. The lyrics are staggering. This song is like a trojan horse...

use of vocal layers makes the listener feel part of the dialogue, and also establishes a meditative mood(as in many religions).
