Story behind the song
I've always wanted to write a Christmas song, (ok truth is, my wife always wanted me to write one) but I never could write an old fashioned, snow is falling, jingle all the way kind of tune. Had to say something more, so I am a military brat, and work for the military in my day job, and it just seemed fitting to remember the sacrifices military families make, while their service member is overseas.
