"firesong" is the songwriting ministry of Dan Simmons Thanks for stopping by. It's my desire to faithfully share that which has been given to me. This website will be a sampling of recordings that I, along with family and friends, have done over past 45 years. There are over 600 original unpublished songs presented in demo form on this site. Special thanks go to my partners in music, my daughter Amber, son Ian and the guys of Single Heart (Gene, Bob, Chris, Marty and Tata) who joined me to sing praises to the Lord down through the years. I also wish to thank those co-writers and artists that have joined with me in developing new music the passed few years to share on this website. I'm now featuring AI (Artificial Intelligence) groups that I've developed to sing some of the songs. I hope it's evident to everyone... that though the melodies and harmonies, styles and singers may change... Story behind the song
Ron had written the bulk of this great song but thought it might need a bridge and some lyric tweaking so he sent it to me and I immediately fell in love with it...I threw in my two cents, Amber and I joined in behind Ron's great lead and here we are...I still cry sometimes when I really listen closely to what it says...I am so thankful to be part of its creation...cause it is a picture of love
