Story behind the song
I started writing this song more than 16 years ago. In early 1991 I wrote what became the two verses which actually started out as a single verse. In early 1992 I wrote the chorus -- and then it sat. Last year I revisited it and decided instead of finishing it in the form I had originally intended I would split the verse into two, add a bridge and be done with it... and this is how it turned out.
