A poem that was written by friend Bill Reckner as a gift for Mary Alice Pollard (Moonflower) because of her years of love, dedication and hard work - for the welfare of animals world wide, and for the rescued animals she cares for on our small holding. Music written and recorded by Chris Pollard

A heart so full of passion As good as can be found A hero for the little things That walk upon the ground. She takes the time to care each day For each and every one She tends the animals Before her work is done. There can be no one else Who cares so very much For all those little creatures, Raccoons, and birds, and such. She has the drive, the passion And the soul to get it done Her work, and life, and laughter Shines on everyone.
