Cambre (formally known as Julissa) Formed in 2000 by Cousins Mairo German and Julissa Gomez, principal writers and composers of their own original music in collaboration with other members of their group, ie...( Albert Maldonado, Carlos Fuentes, and James Shephard), have all since their formation been hitting the new york latin rock scene with numerous successes. Starting with their first prize Battle of the band win presented by Latino Mix 105.9(Now...La Calle!), Talento Local which catapulted their career to opening up for such bands like Los Rabanez, Oro Solido, Monchi y Alexandra, Los Tigeres Del Norte, and much much more. The band has gone through many setbacks that have held them back from making it to the next stage of superstardom which this band has long been overdue while continuing to write and play to the joy of all that come to know and experience, Cambre!
