I live in Los Angeles. As a freelance musician I play tenor, alto, and soprano saxophones, flute, keys, ethnic woodwinds, hand percussion, and lead and backing vocals for clubs, concerts, casuals, strolling, studio, and tours, in all musical genres. I also teach, conduct, transcribe, compose, and arrange. I am a member of BMI and AFM. I have received worldwide airplay and shared the stage with musical legends. I have worked in front of the camera on West Wing and the Ally Mcbeal show. My musical tastes and influences are vast and varied, including jazz, funk, and world music. Favored saxists: John Coltrane, Michael Brecker, Chris Potter, Karl Denson, David Sanborn, Maceo Parker, and Lisa Simpson. In 2003-4, I played over 600 shows for six million people, touring over 50,000 miles throughout North America, as the featured soloist with "The Greatest Show On Earth." In 2004 I performed with Harlottique, a stage show consisting of musicians, singers, and dancers. In 2005, I performed six nights per week at the CJW Jazz Clubs in Shanghai, China.
