Acoustic guitars, synths, and Lisa on this tune. A friend (Cam) called this a 'Gothic Lullaby.' That's better than any description I could come up with.

Jim-n-Lisa play electronic, acoustic, world/new age, jazz, rock, and other styles; sometimes, all at once.
I'm not going to blow smoke up your nether regions, pretending to be some other person saying how great Jim-n-Lisa are. Originality and high quality productions are important to us. Please judge for yourself. We hope you find something enjoyable. Hi, I'm Jim. This music is created in my computer based studio. I play electric, acoustic, and bass guitars, keyboards, flute, saxes, Wx7 wind controller, electronic drums, and I've been doing some singing of late. The performance/recording technique is improvisational and mostly recorded in real time, one track at a time by me. Lisa sings and creates most of her own vocal melodies and harmony lines. Thanks for listening, - Jim

Story behind the song
Remembering what I experienced as dreaming in my early youth. Astral projection? Who knows?
Lyrics
In the small hours of the night, The dawn will be a while yet, I waken to the call of the wild Looking down at a sleeping child. So quiet, so still, As I slip past the window sill And into the night. The dogs they can see me, To my neighbor's surprise, As we run away to play, There's fear in his eyes. The call of the wild sings loudly in my soul, Right and Wrong are only concepts of the mind, I left them far behind. Silver sprays of light from a slivery moon, Light my world in a fearless ghostly gray, My body's back there sleeping, As I wind my way. The call of the wild sings loudly in my soul, Silver sprays of light from a slivery moon, Light my world in a fearless ghostly gray, As I wind my way.
