Lyrics
Blister On My Heart ©2006 Tim Wheeler You act like everything’s ok Like it just happened in my head But I relive them every day The things you did. The words you said And I can’t seem to let it go The pain that’s boiling up inside me I don’t know what running through your head But, can’t you see it’s tearing us apart Will I grow cold and calloused if I turn the other cheek While you ignore this blister on my heart Keep thinking I should just forgive Release this debt and move along But I guess I’m not capable Of righting all that’s been set wrong So, I refuse to let it go Won’t keep this bottled up inside me I don’t know what runnin’ through your head But, can’t you see its tearing us apart I’m growin’ cold and calloused tryin’ to turn the other cheek While you ignore this blister on my heart Heart to heart, we try to walk in stride How can we do that if you look the other way Don’t look the other way I don’t know what runnin through your head But can’t you see its tearing us apart I’m growin’ cold and calloused tryin’ to turn the other cheek Don’t ignore this blister on my heart This blister on my heart.
