Lafleur Ylanoire are two young musicians from Heidelberg, Germany: Nora-Marie Borrusch and Flora Bastian. They write and play their songs themselves, sometimes accompanied by other musicians - that's why the name "Lafleur Ylanoire" actually stands not only for the two "basic" members, but for several different "sets" of musicians.

Story behind the song
This song is actually based on a song for female voice and guitar in the manner of an Irish folk song. The idea of creating a movement for three voices came to my mind when I had to do the Kontrapunkt II-course at the university - which was one the reasons why I began studying musicology. On the literature side... the scene in "Ryle & Serinia", where Ryle escapes after a long and heavy fight, and walks home towards his beloved Serinia, is for me one of the major key scenes in the book, if not THE key scene at all... 2. The missing scout With stony expression Serinia was listening to the discussing commander and the generals. They slowly got alert for the next battle was lying immediately ahead, it was just a question of time, and no sign of Ryle and the weapon which should lead them to victory. "If we get to the plains at night, we could surprise them! The demons are up at night, though, but the dragons are just like we rather creatures of day, even though they may see far better than we at night... What do you think of it, Anarin?" one of the men asked. Anarin's eyes were fixed on the maps. He drove a hand across his eyes. It actually did not matter, they had no great chance anyway. He, however, had to control himself. After a while he had made a decision. "We will not budge, but won't attack! Who knows what Arfhir is planning, and which surprises he's keeping ready for us!" Anarin said bleakly. He looked at Serinia. "Is there any news of...?" Before he could finish the sentence she firmly shook her head and looked away. Althrough the day she had felt nausea and believed to hear Ryle's screams. The discussion was finally over and they were alone in the tent. Anarin sat beside Serinia waiting behind his desk. She had come together with the generals, but could not be made waiting outside. She poured water from the decanter for him. For a while they were sitting in silence together ere Anarin spoke. "I am full of sorrow. Ryle would have had to return at least six weeks ago. It doesn't fit. I always think of what happened if he had found out everything and did not return, but go to–" Serinia interrupted him roughly. "He is no deserter! And not only because I believe it, but because I know!" she added when her father watched her critically. He was not convinced yet. "Look, father... Ryle is in trouble... His horse came back to me without him five days ago, and... He is reliable and you do know that! That's why you sent him, if I may remind you of that! He won't come too late, except they have caught him or... he is not alive anymore...," she breathed. Anarin frowned. "Don't rush, girl! There are a thousand reasons a horse is walking around freely." "But not so many when the saddle is slashed... And it did not look like an animal... Don't they say demons have six iron fingers they can tear up everything with?" she asked bitterly. "What? Are you aware of what you're claiming? Bless the Lords, if that's right we should break camp! Torment by demons is said to be... effective! And Ryle knows nearly everything the demons want to know!" Anarin had leaped up and was now walking back and forth in the tent. "No!" Serinia burst out. Surprised by the fierceness of her own voice she lowered her eyes with embarrassment. "No! Father, I... I begged Eraken to search for Ryle and to bring him back if... he can't manage by his own... But I actually wanted to ask you for sending another one after him!" Anarin briefly stopped his walking. "I can't! It would strike attention, so many scouts being on the way, and if the demon gets one between his claws! Just because of one man... Furthermore we are in need of every man who's not injured!" He shook his head. "I actually should not let you away with your sending off a talented healer. Just like Eraken. Ryle has to see all by himself how he can manage this! I know you cannot understand this. But it won't work if I send a further scout after him! Even t
