C-RON, also known as Young C, is a rapper from the Westside of Pittsburgh PA. Although he is young, C-Ron is no stranger to the game. His father being a DJ/Emcee really helped him witness the hip-hop culture first hand while he was growing up. C-Ron says, "After my father hung up his turn tables for good, I began writing as a way to vent my stress." At the young age of 9, C-Ron's life took a wrong turn as he started to become abused both physically and emotionally. Surrounded by sex, drugs, and money; C-Ron wasn't like most other kids whose parents weren't there for them. Says C-Ron, "It's like they were right there all of the time, just not there for me. They spent more time sedated from drugs than with me." When C-Ron was 12, his mother did him wrong by filing false charges against him for assault. When the police came to get him it only got worse, as he resisted arrest and added another charge to his record. He was sentenced to 90 days in the Shuman Juvenile Detention Center, but only served 45. Even that couldn't hold him back. He came out fighting and taking this music business seriously. Now he's in the process of building his self founded company K-Ottic Productions from the ground up. His life growing up has been nothing but K-Ottic. Now, so isn't his label.
