Story behind the song
I have an unusual fascination with the mystical side of the Papacy. How can the Pope not be a mystic of sorts? When we think of popes we think of mature, old men. But once they were young. What was it like for them? Let me take you on a musical interpretation, an opera. The song uses the best choir samples I have, and relies heavily on the East West Symphonic Choir library. It was written with Logic Pro 7.2 on a few humid nights in March of 2006.
