Nick Allen and his Blues Prophets are the most promising blues band to hit the East Anglian region and soon they will no doubt will be known throughout the country. With Nicks soulful voice and smooth guitar playing, James's Funky Bass, Nick H's unique 2 finger lead guitar style and Maikki's Powerful drums this band is not to be underestimated, all members are pro musicians and despite their youth (the bands average age is 17/18) they are all very experienced and have been on the circuit for long enough to know what makes a good show and what makes some kick ass blues! The Band all draw from very diverse influences ranging from Funk, Samba/Latin, Jazz, Classical, Soul, Rock and of course THE BLUES. These influences all come across in the bands live sound which makes their shows an extra special experience and not to be missed out. The band are currently writing lots of new material for the new year and will be doing some more recording in febuary for their first CD.
