Story behind the song

I've caught myself doing this more than once, and have had conversations with my cousins and girlfriends about the same thing.  I think when a woman meets someone she thinks might be "the one," she needs lots of reassurance and validation and confirmation that she's not wrong.  We sometimes take it from anywhere we can find it, and this song is about that.
