Digital Aura is Greg Primmer of Petrolia, Ontario in Canada. At a very young age he began his musical studies taking classical piano. After 10 years, his desire to produce his own music led him into the field of electronically synthesized music. Although typically he enjoys dance music, he isn't tied to any one specific sound and he continues to forray into HOUSE, TRANCE and AMBIENT genres. Story behind the song
Originally, this song debuted as a slow and somber minimalistic track by Orphan. Digital Aura bumped up the tempo and rearranged the tune to create a trancey synthpop anthem! The vocals were also reversed and manipulated to make the "gregorian chant" channel that can be heard throughout as well.
Lyrics
If I searched deep inside Will I be met with something I like. Or instead will I be disappointed With what I find? Strip away the lesser revealed Remnants of some long past ordeals. The choices I didn't make The paths that I didn't take. O God, so many mistakes All steadfast in time. Chorus: Delve in the depths of me Among emotions I've quelled I'm not just what you see I'm looking at myself. I'll find some things I'll likely regret Among others I shouldn't forget. The person that I've become The trials that I've overcome And all the good things I've done All indelibly mine.
