Hailing from Sacramento, California with a diverse group of influences that range from Tool, Deftones, and Breaking Benjamin, to Red Hot Chili Peppers, STP, and Led Zepplin. Save And Continue brings an excellent musically influenced background into their writing that births a sound which parallels bands like Chevelle, Incubus, Breaking Benjamin, and dredg, refreshingly blasting your ears with hard alternative rock accompanied by melodic vocals. Formed in 2003 with Brent Ginn (Guitar) and Billy Schult, (vocals) the rock quartet really began to take off in 2004 with the energetic and powerful additions of Charles Weber (drums) and Chris Garza aka “Garz.” (bass) The bands high energy and explosive sound coupled with their tightness on and off stage, has elicited a strong and positive response in the time since they began playing shows. Their heart and soul is poured into and comes out in both their music and in their performance. They have participated in charity shows like the recent 2005 UC Davis Children’s Hospital, Koins For Kids benefit, hosted by 98 Rock, KWOD 106.5, 107.9 The End, and more..In May of 2005, the band released their two song demo that they recorded with Danny Cocke of Simplistic. The demo has met great success and has been received with so much interest that a third song and possibly more, is expected in the next few months. This July Save And Continue was chosen to feature on 2 compilation albums including Sac Rocks vol.12, a compilation of Sacramento based bands put out by Sacramento rock station "98 Rock." previous bands to have been featured on the cd's have been those such as Papa Roach, Deftones, and Oleander. The cd's should be available for both compilations by mid August to early Sept.
