A short, melancholy piece. This is my first composition with GS3 and is entirely string ensembles except for the piccolo, which comes into the song later and signifies the approach of spring.

Story behind the song
3/4 time is usually the easiest time to write in. This was definitely a good way for me to start out with GS3. Song description says there are only strings and a piccolo, but the percussion does have a part, too.
