With a vocal signature similar to David Bowie, Miles Grant writes modern rock songs blending acoustic instrumentation with rythyms and synthesizer.
began writing music in his early teens and started performing professionally in late 1989. It was
then, along with his long time associate Michael McConnell aka Mick Who; he co-formed the band
The Itch and performed under the pseudonym Miles.
Miles wrote music and originally played guitar and was the singer for the band. The Itch’s first single
entitled “Big Picture” was featured on a compilation release produced by Stryder Records of South
Florida. The song and the band received immediate acclaim and attention from radio, press and
music lovers alike. The Itch was known for their outrageous live performances as well as there
musical ability. The band was a cross between Motley Cru meets the Chili Peppers meets Rage
Against the Machine. The band enjoyed regional success for the next 5 years performing and
releasing several singles and two Cd's entitled “Pillow” and “Bulldozer”.
When the Itch disbanded, Greg formed the band My Girlfriend. It was during this time he really
honed his individual writing and playing skills producing over 35 recordings. After 1998 and not
landing a significant record deal, Greg went into the nightclub business and continued to write and
record original music at his home studio. In 2003 he began to collaborate once again with Michael
McConnell creating Evil Twin Music.
Evil Twin Music produces music in all genres and manifests in different projects.
