Poetic injustice
You scream but your screams fall on deaf years though
you dream but your dreams they never can know
you laugh but your life is getting shorter
enough talk its time for action sort of
why fight it you cannot win the battle
you tried shit but still follow like cattle
exhausted is whats you life becoming
Americas at war are you ready for the second coming
poetic injustice
I cant see what we are becoming
I cant be a mans who's always running
you might think death is your escape
I shake your mind with my fist and call that poetic injustice
some cry when the world seems to oppress them
some die then secrets you cant confess them
I take it all in stride
im about to explode in you face you know you need to hide
false winds that blow away your compulsion
hostilities that tear your emotion
i can never make it through the evil fire
burning a large hole through your desire
